Naval game, Wayne?
I was just looking at the GHQ website. Is there any interest in modern Micronauts?
WWII is about as modern as I get, Mark. BTW, I'm located in Limerick!
Bob
Hi Bob
Can do on the 11th. Is 6pm ok? The only warning is that I wont have time to do much review of the rules before hand so we'll have to do it on the fly.
Hi Mark, moderns? missiles, sub's, jets and nukes no sir I want some ship to ship action be it cannon balls or 18 inch shells! If you can come by tomorrow night IJN vs USN.
Wayne
Will you guys be meeting at Crossroads? I will try to make it but no promises.
Ken

Bob
Hi Bob
I'm reporting that I didn't lose a ship Admiral, tho after you left I managed to get them all pretty battered :). Your torpedo shots were spot on, the enemy Cruiser Division turned to line astern and two of three spreads hit! The USS Denver was struck midships and last seen limping away to the east at 5 knots. Of our ships the lead Destroyer was a flaming hulk reduced to turning to starboard with a jammed rudder, her sister headed due north with the bridge destroyed. The rest of the line while still afloat would be lucky to escape. I did manage to strike the Americans but as the range closed thier rapid fire 6" guns were cutting us up. Good game I hope we can put another on soon.
Wayne
Wayne,
It didn't occur to me until after I left that those cruisers of his would pull a line astern! Blind luck with the torps, but hey, whatever works! And I'm not too surprised about the IJN getting shot-up and taking the worst of it...you did well to stay afloat I think!
Thanks very much for bringing the stuff down to Crossroads and giving me and John a salt water fix...was fun!
Later,
Bob
