...Or Nervii on the lose.

I've had them for months in a box on a shelf and each time I've passed them by I would say..soon , tomorrow this weekend there's still plenty of time no worry's.

Then it happened the horde assembled and broke free!

free to roam and pillage!

The poor unfinished legionnaires caught partially assembled disarmed! the horror!

..oh bugger e broke me stick!

Finished with the Romans they chase off a Union patrol

then encounter bigger more suitable prey.

Their blood up the fearsome warriors topple the mighty metallic beast.

Lunch ...death and destruction, mayhem and murder makes one thirsty after all.

After a short nap, Segrid the Troublesome found a ride and the rampage continues.. Step on it Sarge! their gainnin! Bloody Jerry's

They next encounter a strange war band of pointy eared fellows....... and cut them down!

Finally they are cornered. Exhausted and out of beer the brave tribesmen are rounded up.

Six hours later dipped and drying they await shipment to the rest of the army. A threat of neon pink paint and confiscating their weapons kept them in line.

So with no more beer in the house and one cat still missing head my warning! Deal with them before its to late.

I did wonder about your headless cat!  Well done, Wayne.  My wife is chuckling still at your Nervii invasion.  It reminded me a little of that old movie, Gremlins.

Yes well the cat may indeed be headless one day if she continues to chew upon my miniatures! You cant tell by the photo's but some of those Romans are quite a mess.

Cats . . . Hmmmmm . . . Don't look too closely at Andy's Nervii - they're kinda furry!

Wayne, your Nervii have landed!  Thanks for sending them over.  I'll try to have them glued to stands for the game test Friday/Saturday, even though the ground cover wont be done.

Nice work!  I'll post photos sometime in the next few days.
