Hey All,

Here are some pics from the Battle of Antietam Fire and Fury game we just finished up at Chris Penny's place this last Saturday. It took us two solid days of gaming to come to a conclusion, but the Yankees did carry the day. This was a truly one of my all time fantastic gaming experiences -- kudos to all the guys who played and to Chris for hosting us all. Let's rack 'em up and do it all again very soon!! grin

Fantastic photos Billy.  My favorite was the one of a lonely General Lee looking disconsolately at what was left of Jackson's Corps after Hooker smashed in the rebel flank or possibly the sight of a dozen Yankee flags flying over the sunken road with a whole rebel division in flight before them.  Good times.

I echo your sentiment that this was a great gaming experience.  Kudos to everyone who showed up and played a wonderful 'gentlemen's game'.

Yupper, the game was a lot of fun and not so much as one disagreement that I know of.  Chris Penney did his usual great work on the table and Billy seemed to be everywhere at once answering questions.  My only concern was....where the heck was the McClellan stand?!devil

The spirit of McClellan was visible everywhere in the incredible coordination of Union hammer blows on the Confederate front.  It was that spirit that animated our troops and achieved this remarkable victory.

My question is where was Burnside on the bridge?????

Oh, oh -- it looks like little Mac and Ambrose are still not getting along. How very historical! smile

Great game Billy,

Thanks for a great table Chris, I'm still trying to figure out if Jim Flanagan was channeling lil' mac or Grant!

Hey, Mark,
Yupper, 15mm and some nice figs, too.  Still wish I had got to see the McClellan stand.....

Geeez Bob - If you had gotten across the bridge maybe you would have seen Little Mac in the desperate fighting in front of Antietam........then again, maybe not!
