Good Evening,

I am looking for input on a date for this years con.  In addition to the regular games we would like to do a FOW qualifier.  Also if you dont think June is a good month let me know what date you think would be better.  Thanks.  Take care.

Hello.
Would you like a First Bull Run (First Manassas) game in 15mm to commemorate the 150th anniversary?

Hi Bob,

Sure.  Sounds good to me.  I'll put you down for that.  Thanks, take care.

Lets try and focus (if we can) on events that are celebrating Anniversaries this year (ie WWII events, American Civil War & the Napoleonic Wars, etc)

Within this time frame, you will have a good mix of land, air & naval battles.

Hi Rick,

Sounds like a good idea to me.  Did you have any specific game in mind?

Not really.  Was thinking I could do something either with BattleCry or Memoir' 44 or a Board Game if you don't mind.

Can send you a list of what I have.  Can't plan that far out at this time.

Shoot me a message at ffv1607@hotmail.com & I will send you my list.

Would also like to see the Game Day in Bangor as it is closer to the Interstate.

A board game sounds fine to me.  Maybe you could bring several and people can come play what ever you list.  Can you organize it as a mini tournament and we can try and come up with donations for the winners?  We are going to try and do a FOW tournament also if there is enough interest.  Plus have several other historical miniatures games as well.

The place we use now is free and we have room for 10 - 12 setups between the two adjacent rooms.  If you can find something better closer to town I am all for it.  Although Levant is only about 8miles out Rt. 222 from BIA.  But I am all for something in town if you can find something.  Thanks.  Take care.

I think it is possible that we might a place in Bangor that is better located (and the same rate you are getting now.)

At this point, Levant is a little off my "beaten track" (and that of others who might be interested in coming for a game (both from the North and South.)

Shoot me an e-mail & I will send you my list as I have way to many games that might fit the theme also the only gamers I have are Bob's Group.

To catch up with things, I like any date but would like to run a WW2 Winter War scenario/Russia with my old collection which I've continually updated all these decades. Great for the younger fellows also.

Great.  Would you like to do that in a morning slot or afternoon?

it probably won't make much difference. Once a location is nailed down I'll know if I can get there in an hour or an hour and a half. I could possibly do a small ACW game in the afternoon, re-hashing some Regimental rules I adapted from Peter Berry's File Leader and French and Indian rule books. Fun stuff to see at the very least.

Bill:

In follow up to my earlier message; if NorCon 2 is in Levant, I am sorry to say that I will not be able to make it (due to commitments in Orono.)  Bangor is doable for me; Levant is not.

Hmmm, maybe a micro-armor in the afternoon. Micro-armor is always most excellent and I've a good batch of that. You've got me thinking now.

Kodiak how far is Levant from Bangor. Bangor would be a good location for me. A friend and i could drive down from Fredericton NB for the day and our wives could go shopping. :)

Hi Banuch,

Micro Armor is always good.  So is ASL if you want to do something with that.

Belisarius,

The church building we use is about 10 minutes out Rt 222 (Union St.) past Bangor International Airport.  From the entrance to BIA you go about 8 miles to the center of Levant (a 5 way intersection with an Irving gas station on the left) and Harvest Chapel is on the right about 100 yards after that.  You cant miss it.

Thanks Bill  My wife likes the idea of firing me out of the car at a remote location and then go shopping. When you have a firm date and time could you drop me a PM so I can start planning.
