Wayne-

If you have the time, post something afterward about Operation Squad.  I'm curious to hear what you think of it.

Thanks!

Can do. It should be a good fit to our game set. We use BKCII for Brigade and up, FOW for Company, Disposable Heroes for Platoon and Operation Squad is    well Squad based. With just 9 - 12 figures per side it would be inexpensive to field a diverse set of forces. If the rules pan out I may be able to interest of some 40k types based on the small unit size, Bolt Action has some nice Squad sized box sets avalible at Archtects of War.

We're moving!    well not far just to Sunday afternoons. With shifting work schedules and other commitments its been decided to move our weekly game day to Sunday. Its still at Crossroads Games ( 15 Fort Hill Rd. Standish ) the time is 3- 3:30PM with a start time of 4PM. The other gatherings are breaking up at 3 with only some board gamers left so we should have plenty of room and time. If you can please stop by join us I know there are some local gamers around who are lucky to get in a game a mouth drop me a reply or PM if you have any quesions or offers, ideas or suggestions. This Sunday we will be continuing to ring out Operation Squad look for a quick review soon.

Well our first attempt at Sunday gaming was a flop, bust, failure two called out and I shut it down. Tried again Monday and got stood up, I'm nothing if not persistent though. I've had a talk with the boy's and will try again this weekend. With two affirmatives and one maybe I'm bringing my son to make sure we at least get a game in. This is a holiday weekend I know but I see that as a positive. Saturday honey do projects, Sunday morning same then Sunday at 4pm gaming  at Crossroads until we drop. With no further obligations until the family dinner Monday, what could be better? The game will be Operation Squad an with 4 + players we may even attempt a quick tournament.

Optimistically yours

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'll try to make some of the Sunday games. When do you post what you are playing?

No worries Mike, I try to post our plans the day after our last get together. Those who show up set the schedule and game for next week. If I know at least one other will make it I'll be there. This Sunday at 4pm it will be WW II skirmish with Operation Squad. We will have plenty of terrain and troops if anyone wants to jump in.

We had two of four show this Sunday not bad that's a 50% improvement. Pushing ahead we will meet again next Sunday and continue to explore Operation Squad.

Last Sunday went well 2.5 players ( one was very late) and we are enjoying Op Squad. This Sunday is looking bad, work schedules all over the place I may still go my self and drag the boy along. I feel as the instigator I  need to show up hate to miss a newcomer. You don't get to many opportunity's to make a good impression. Need to get the guys to RSVP and post go / no go the day before.
