Volunteer Schedule for Huzzah!

Tim has already put out the call for volunteers, thank you to all who responded, so I am just following up with the schedule.  Please take a look at the time slots in which help is needed, and let Tim ( tprichter@myfairpoint.net ) know, or post here.  I'll update the schedule as names come in.

Here are some notes about what needs to be done.

Friday we will have to fine-tune the layout of tables when we arrive.  The hotel will have placed the tables where they are noted on our diagrams, but a little bit of adjustment will be necessary.  In addition, we will need help getting the Basic Impetus tournament setup and going, putting up signs, and then as vendors arrive, we will need a small army to help get them into position, help lug or hold doors, etc.  The Registration Desk will need to be setup, game masters pointed to their tables and their needs addressed.

Saturday it will be mostly a matter of running the registration desk, tshirt and ticket auction sales, and answering questions.

Sunday will be more of the same, though less of it, until we come to the end of the day.  By mid-afternoon most gamers and GMs will be leaving, as will vendors.  The FOW tournament will be going right to the end, but everyone else will be moving on.  For this will need a small army, again, to help vendors get out the door and to make sure we pack and clean up what is ours.  We do not have to police trash and recyclables, though it would be helpful to make sure that sort of thing is in the appropriate areas of the room.   We do not have to move tables or chairs.  Its really a matter of helping vendors, packing our own things, walking around to make sure we dont forget anything.  We should be done and out of there by 5:30.  Dinner will follow, somewhere.

So...here is the work-in-progress schedule.  I've plugged in some names of people who have volunteered.  If your name is not listed below, its just that I dont know which sessions are best for you.  I did not intend to leave anyone off the list who has offered assistance!  I do prefer to let you select the sessions that work best for you.

Put me on the Registration desk Friday at 5:00 pm and Saturday at 7:30 am. I may be able to work the desk on Sunday too. I'm not sure how Friday setup is going to work with the Ancients tournament.

Mikey and Tribou.

I have updated the schedule.  Thank you, both!  Hopefully we will have enough people volunteer that no one has to be working more than two at the most.  One each would be ideal.

No idea how the setup along with a tournament is going to work, but we'll figure it out!
