Games at the Flea Market, August 6th
The games currently scheduled for the August 6th flea market and summer gathering are....
15mm Behind Enemy Lines, WW2 skirmish with Tim Richter
25mm WW1 with Bill Zona
25mm (I think) Impetus with Ken Eckhardt and Jim Flanagan
40mm AWI with Chris Parker
25mm demo game of Operation Squad WW2 skirmish with Wayne Warner
If someone is interested, it would be fun to run 25mm gladiators, maybe even in the morning as we wander around, shop/trade, etc. Anyone willing to run gladiators?
Looks like an interesting mix. Hoping to make it. Do we need to sign up in advance?
I like the idea of having demo games in the morning, because once the browsing and shopping is done, it'll be good to be able to see what's going on with those.
Hi, Gamespoet.
No need to register, and no cost for attending.
I agree, having small demos in the morning will be fun once people have exhausted their rolled change and trade bait. Ideally, maybe something that could run on a card table as table space might be tough to find with the flea market consuming most of the space in the morning.
Hope you can make it!
It looks like I will be able to put on a Op Squad demo after all. The negotiations went down to the wire but I was able to pull it off. The wife's demands were surprisingly small, dinner and something about a item to be named latter, no worry's right?
Four players one table would do.
See you there.
Wayne
Going to try to get there as early as I can, do some table browsing, and would love to get in some Operation Squad if there's room.
Also, for some reason I recall there being a 25mm FIW game, but it looks like it was switched to a 40mm AWI? Maybe I'll give that a go instead. Although giving Impetus a try is also tempting.
