A big thank you to all those who attended the flea market and to all those who worked hard to put the event together.  Everything worked out well despite the warmth of the building.   I made a few bucks and had a chance to talk with some really fine people.

For the Impetus game, once again Jim claimed victory even though we really didn't get to finish the game.  The Persians lost 6 units but, victory point wise, they were cheaper units to lose.  Congratulations and thank you to Chris Penney who commanded the Persian right.  He held is own against the Macedonians and never lost a unit.  This was his first time out with Impetus and he acquitted himself admirably.

Next time, Flannigan!!

I agree. A big thank you to all who attended and to all who helped organize and set it up. I ended up satisfied with bringing in five boxes and leaving with three and a half boxes of stuff.

Thanks to all who participated!  A very fun day seemed to be had by many.

Much appreciated seeing so many things on so many tables, and had to make way too many choices on what to buy and what not to buy.

Had a blast in the afternoon playing Operation Squad again.  This game takes short moments of time and spreads them out in real time, with momentum that can change during a turn as much as it can from turn to turn.  Lots of decisions get made with a constant need to think ahead on a tactical level, adjust plans to what develops, and be prepared for how quickly things can turn.  I played the Germans with the objective to take out as much of the opposing side as possible and secure the house in the middle.  Both sides were in the building at different times, but as victory conditions were finalized on Turn 7, neither side had the building, and the Germans lost having had 4 more casualties (killed or retreated) then the British, 10 to 6.

My thanks to Alder Hobby. That's only the 3rd time I've met Gordon and the crew and once again they managed to get a good bit of my cash, must be doing something right. Also thank you to Scano and Gamespoet for playing Op Squad, I had a good time and wasn't even playing.

No problem Wayne I had a great time looking forward to playing again soon. Gamespoet certainly imbued me with a new found respect for the Panzer Grenadiers!
