28 mm South Pacific
If there's a couple of Japanese waiting in ambush behind that ground cover to the right, then that Australian could be in trouble.
That he will. Looking forward to seeing how Op Squad plays in a dense close range environment.
South Pacific update
Trees Pegasus Type A, B, Small A and MDF bases hot glued.

After a light gray spray primer I put on a heavy green base paint.

While still wet I flock it. This saves the PVA glue step and is just as durable.

The ground cover from the pet isle at Wallmart, not quite to scale but it works. This is broken down into smaller pieces and hot glued into place. I keep the flocking handy to cover any inadvertent blobs of glue.

To further obscure the plastic plant bottoms and glue I used an old pack of Woodland Scenic's Lichen.
Three top are put on the trees after the base work is done.

A few more stands needed, might use some 2" round bits for small plants to fill in.

Australians and Marines

Japanese

All I need now are some 28mm Croc's

Thanks a bit more work than I expected but should make for some great games.

Wow looks awesome! Looking forward to bursting out of the bush sten guns blazing!
What are you using for bases for your mini's Wayne? Mine didn't come with bases and I would like them to be about equivalent size to yours.
1 inch washers with a 3/8 hole. The local hardware store should have them in bulk. They are the same size as a slot base but lower.
If you look specifically for "Fender Washers" you may be able to find ones with even smaller holes in the center.
Just a comment
Tim
True the smaller the hole less to fill, don't bother with the big box stores, if they event have them it will be in small high priced packs.
Wayne
Generally its the figures base if the hole is small enough.
Side note the Japanese troops are done Pic's later.

Need to spend more time on the faces. Some of the Japanese fig's look cartoonish
Looking good so far! Painting asian skin tone is a bit tricky as I understand it. What was the name/brand of the gel you used to build up the bases? Golden Poumus? I want to pick some up so I can start constructing my own.
The stuff I use is made by Golden I use the Course Pumice Gel. I could and have used sand but find this is a quicker way to level a base with a chunky miniature bottom it also takes paint well. I have a 8 oz tub that's lasted years, Michels or A.C. Moore will have it.
Cool looking stuff, Wayne!
Not sure if this will help you or not, but here's a link to a Pdf. of plans for a southeast Asian hut:
