I have been learning the game for a couple of weeks, and can say that this is one of the best war games I have ever played. The rules are somewhat more complex than the reviewer indicates, but the game flows extremely smoothly once you learn them. The board is made of stout cardboard, just like the old AH games. The counters are also thick and large (3/4") for old fingers like mine. And there aren't overwhelming numbers of counters either. Rarely do you see a stack of more than two counters. It also has a solitaire module that I haven't tried yet.
